The Art of Stewardship
Nature Through the Eyes of Artists
A 10×10 Art Show, May 8-June 2, 2017, Howard County Conservancy’s Gudelsky Gallery
The Howard County Conservancy is accepting submissions for the 2017 The Art of Stewardship art exhibit, Nature Through the Eyes of Artists. The 2017 exhibit will have an exciting new format, consisting entirely of 10”x10” pieces. All pieces areunlabeled and available for a sale price of $100, with all proceeds benefiting the Conservancy.
Our vision is to create an opportunity for nature-loving artists to support the work of the Conservancy. The Art of Stewardship exhibit attracts professional as well as amateur artists. The greatest creativity sometimes emerges when there are limitations – imagine the fantastic diversity contained in a wall full of 10×10 pieces!
There will be a fun, high energy gallery opening and reception on the evening of Sunday, May 7, 2017. Leaders from the Maryland art world will be in attendance, as well as other heroes from the community. At 6pm there will be a wine & cheese reception ($20). During the reception, there will be a raffle for buyer positions #1-10, and those ten individuals will be able to make their selections before the official opening to the public at 7pm (free).
