The Art of Stewardship
April 3 - April 30, 2015

Earth Stewardship Days: Rev Up The Planet is a month-long series of events designed to raise awareness of the importance of taking care of the Earth. The second annual Art of Stewardship Exhibition, sponsored by Chestertown RiverArts and the Chester River Association in collaboration with  the Carla Massoni Gallery and The Art of Stewardship Project kick-off the series of events. The exhibition, in the RiverArts Galleries, will feature works that express and exemplify the importance of being good stewards of the Earth. Marcy Ramsey, president of the Chester River Association and curator and juror for this show is herself an exceptional painter and book illustrator.

The Art of Stewardship Project is a private foundation established by the Mort Family to encourage stewardship of the earth and environmental awareness through the arts. Greg Mort gave permission to use the name and one of his beautiful Stewardship images, “Splashdown” to promote the show. You can find more information about the Art of Stewardship projects around the world on their website and on theirfacebook page.
